Gilbert Frank Hutchinson Sr. (Sonny) died May 21, at his home in Watonga.
He was born March 12, 1961 in Clinton, Okla., to Donald and Gerry Hutchinson.
He spent his early years in Seiling until the family moved to Guymon where he attended school.
He married Carla Brooks.
Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m., today at Indian Baptist Church Watonga, Okla.
Wake Services took place at 7 p.m. Thursday at Indian Baptist Church Watonga.
Interment was at Cantonment Cemetery in Canton, Okla.
Services were entrusted to Russworm Funeral Home, Watonga.

JoAnn Sturdivan, 80, passed away Tuesday evening, May 21, at the Heritage Community Manor in Guymon.
The daughter of William Jasper and Cordelia (Clark) Robertson, JoAnn was born April 29, 1933 in Dustin, Okla.
She grew up in Weleetka, Okla., moving to Guymon when she was around 13 years old.
JoAnn was united in marriage to Cleo Edward Sturdivan March 27, 1950 in Clayton, New Mexico. He preceded her in death on June 9, 1982.
She was a homemaker and also had worked at Ideal Foods, Long John Silvers, Dunaway Manor and at the United Bakery, retiring in 1993.

Robert Leroy “Bob” Chance, Sr., age 79, passed away May 20, in Oklahoma City.
He was born October 9, 1933 in Soldier, Kan., to Ralph and Elsie (Bailey) Chance. Bob was the oldest of six children.
After graduating high school he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force serving our country during the Korean Conflict. Bob received the Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal and the Outstanding Unit Service Certificate. After four years of service, Bob was honorably discharged.

Michael Eric Highberger, 57, of Sterling passed away Saturday, May 18, in Sterling.
Mike was born July 12, 1955 in Pratt, Kan., to Milton and Mona (Layton) Highberger.
He worked in the oil fields in Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, and Colorado. He worked most recently as a Certified Mechanic for Excel Energy.
He married Julie Lemons October 25, 1991 in Sterling.
Mike was a mechanic and loved working on old cars. He enjoyed any time spent in his “shop” fixing or working on anything.

Los Banos, Calif. - Ken Jenkins, Los Banos, Calif., died May 11, after a long illness. He was 65.
Born Sept. 30, 1947, in Liberal, Kans., Ken spent much of his younger years near Guymon.
He graduated from Guymon High School with the Class of 1965.
That same year he entered the U.S. Navy where he served in Vietnam as an aircraft mechanic aboard the flight decks of the USS Oriskany and the USS Hancock.
He married Sunny Ely on April 8, 1967.

Novie Leroy Coffman, 86, lifelong resident, passed away Saturday evening, May 18, at the Heritage Community Manor in Guymon.
The son of Lee and Clara (Carter) Coffman, he was born March 2, 1927 in the Dombey Community.
Novie was married to Norma Jean Kirk on February 14, 1944. Born to this union were five children: Robert, Steven, David, Tina and Serena.
Novie attended school in Turpin.
He served in the Army Air Force Paratrooper 305th Division in East France, London, England, Munich, Germany and Naples, Italy.

GUYMON - Daniel V. Torrez, 52, died May 18, at BSA Health System, Amarillo.
He was born June 7, 1960 in Dodge City, to Pascual Joe and Martina (Veloz) Torrez.
Daniel grew up in Dodge City and attended Dodge City Schools. He moved to Guymon in 1984, and went to work for Guymon Paint and Body. Daniel later worked for Seaboard in Guymon.
On July 2, 1992 he married Theresa Jaramillo in Guymon.
He was a member of the St. Peters Catholic Church of Guymon.

Lewis Eugene “Mac” Shaeffer passed away Friday, May 17, at the age of 71.
He was born August 5, 1941, to Leo and Harriet Shaeffer, in Texhoma. He was the middle child of three. His siblings are Ray and Linda Shaeffer.
Mac was a cowboy who loved life and everyone in it. A stranger to none and a friend to all, Mac always made it a point to never be to busy to say hello.

Wayne Wesley Albright, 86, died on Saturday, May 18, at the West Tennessee State Veterans Home in Humboldt, TN.
A native of Tyrone, Wayne was born April 29, 1927, to the late Ancel Alfred and Elsie Elane Stevens Albright.
He was married to the late Lina Gale Albright, who was his best friend, fishing partner and traveling companion for many years.
He proudly served in the United States Navy on the USS LST 741 in the Philippines during WWII.
