WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO
6 AM CST SUNDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AMARILLO HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 6 AM CST SUNDAY.

* EVENT...BLOWING AND ACCUMULATING SNOW OF UP TO ONE TO TWO INCHES. NORTH WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS AROUND 30 MPH WILL ACCOMPANY THE SNOW.

* TIMING...THIS EVENING AND TONIGHT. THE MOST LIKELY TIME FOR ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL WILL BE BETWEEN 7 PM AND MIDNIGHT.

* IMPACTS...THE COMBINATION OF REDUCED VISIBILITIES IN BLOWING SNOW AND LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WILL HAMPER TRAVEL.
