Texas County Dominates District Share the Fun

February 9, 2012

Texas County 4-Hers reminded Northwest Oklahoma that the Panhandle kids are a force to be reckoned with.  The Tyrone Sr. 4-H club and Zoe League from Guymon 4-H club traveled to Fairview, Jan. 28. These two acts traveled the farthest and brought home more placings than any other county.
Nine year-old Zoe League, a 4th Grader at Hooker Elementary, showed the crowd that age doesn’t matter and came to compete again teenagers. She tumbled and flipped and wowed the crowd with her tummy roll trick, earning her second place Individual Act at District Share the fun.
Tyrone Sr. 4-H performed their large group act A Night at the Movies.  Their act takes place in a movie theater.  When a couple arrives to find the only seat available are split between two other couples the hilarity begins.
The Tyrone actors drew the crowd in wondering how the couples in the middle would deliver the “messages” to the separated couple on either end.  Tyrone brought home 2nd place in the large group division. Performers in the group include:Alondra Avilez, Jordan Koehn, Ryon Reese, Kasia Salley, Cole Wall, Rayna Wall
