GOODWELL — The seventh annual OPSU Chili Cook-Off is November 2, 2013. The contest will take place in the parking lot across from Carl Wooten Field in Goodwell prior to the 2 p.m. Aggie football game.
If you claim to make the best chili around or if you just like to eat it, there will be fun for everyone. Contestants will be asked to provide three gallons of chili for judging and taste testing. Community members are welcome to come out and vote for their favorite chili. Kids are invited to participate in apron decorating throughout the contest. Supplies will be provided.
The official judging will begin at 11 a.m. and the winners will be announced at halftime of the OPSU football game. The judges will select the top three entrants for Best Chili and Best Presentation (best serving area). The public will vote for one People’s Choice award.
