PTSO Book Fair begins Thursday

January 24, 2012

Plans for the Guymon PTSO (Parent, Teacher, Student Organization) Book Fairs are underway and volunteers are needed to help make the event a success.
“This is an outreach we do to share the love of books with children and to come together as a community to help the kids,” said PTSO Secretary, Angie Martin. “Money raised from the book sales earns us free books back and we want to get more books in the library for the kids.”
According to Martin, the theme for this year’s book fair is Luau.
“We have graciously accepted help from some awesome ladies that are chairpersons for a few schools with our first two book fairs,” Martin said. “Beginning on Jan. 26, we still need the wonderful residents of Guymon to pull together an drake a difference in our community.”
