Pink Heals Tour coming to Guymon this summer

March 24, 2014

Cancer not only affects the lives of those diagnosed, but it affects the lives of those who love them as well. Cancer also takes some of those innocent lives. It does not discriminate and does not care if the person is a mother of three, a firefighter, daughter, brother, hero or any other type of person. However, those people who are diagnosed become heroes in their own right, and the Pink Heals organization helps support those people and the people who surround them.
The Pink Heals Oklahoma Panhandle Chapter is excited about a huge summer event that will be taking place in June. Guymon has been named one of the Pink Heals National Tour stopping points, and everyone is going to be invited to come out and see what the organization has been doing all over the community.
The Tour will be arriving June 20 and will be making their way around the area with activities for everyone to take part in on Saturday, June 21 with an opportunity to meet some of those who travel the country for the cause and see all the pink firetrucks and other pink vehicles making the tour.
Details of the plans are still in the works, and to see more about this event, pick up a copy of today's GDH!
