The Pink Heals firetrucks will be having a Meet and Greet at Pickle Creek Conference Center in Guymon on Saturday Feb. 16 from 6-8 p.m. and all are invited to join.
The Guardians of the Ribbon encourage everyone to attend and visit with them and some of the people in the community that they help who are dealing with cancer.
Food and drink will be available upon donation and a photographer will be on the scene for photo opportunities with the âKaciâ firetruck and the firemen in pink bunkers.
The Guardians of the Ribbon will also have their t-shirts, license plates and decals for sale at the event.
The goal of the Guardians is to get better acquainted with the community and for the community to get better acquainted with them and their mission.
Pink Heals is a 501 (c3) tax exempt organization with donations that reach out and benefit individuals in the community who are facing great financial burdens. They have frequently been seen in parades and at the homes of cancer patients making visits to show emotional and spiritual support for the hardships that can come with cancer. All the funds raised by the Guardians of the Ribbon stays locally to help the local cancer sufferers and their families.
