Making your budget cover your needs

September 4, 2012

The local Community Action Agency, Opportunities Inc., are giving citizens tips on ways to make your budget cover your needs.
In a Public Service Announcement released from Bob Burger of Opportunities Inc., he said “We all struggle with the cost of living and needed medical care.”
Yvonne Stuart from Insure Oklahoma will be here to discuss all of the many options for income based health care coverage that are available to Oklahomans as well as Tri-County Electric being present to explain their new budgeted billing plan called “Pay as You Go.”
“If you struggle with your electric bill, this is for you,” said Burger.
An opportunity to hear these topics will be on Sept. 10 at 6 p.m. at the Main Street Guymon office, 116 NE 5th St.
This is the fourth of five planned sessions and each session has something different to offer the community. The last session will be held on Sept. 17 and will cover the topic of “Making the Connection/Families With Special Health Needs” with Monica Ronne from the Oklahoma Families Network. All are free and open to the public to attend.
Refreshments will be served and it is hosted by Opportunities Inc. For more information reach Bob Burger at 338-5388.
