The Memorial Hospital of Texas County Board of Control will meet in regular session Tuesday, and among the items at stake will be whether to hire Lee Hughes as permanent Chief Executive Officer.
Hughes took over as interim CEO last spring after the hospital hired NewLight Healthcare to manage the hospital. Hughes at been CEO in Boise City.
The board will also vote to amend the bylaws to allow board members to serve an unlimited number of 4-year terms. Right now, members can only serve two consecutive 4-year terms.
The board will also vote to change the hospitalâ€™s legal counsel from Crowe and Dunleavy to McAfee and Taft, and allow Pat Rogers of McAfee and Taft to represent the hospital, as well as the physicians in the imaging joint venture.
The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in the hospital board room.
