The Class 2A state tournament brackets were released Sunday afternoon, and the Hooker Bulldogs trip to The Big House will go through Yukon.

The boys quarterfinals and semifinals will take place at Yukon High School before moving to Jim Norick Arena for Championship Saturday.

The 3rd-ranked Bulldogs (25-1) open with No. 6 Talihina (22-6) at 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

The Tigers rode a 10-game winning streak to the Area championship before falling to top-ranked Wright City on Friday night, advancing to the consolation final against Savanna, winning 69-67 to advance to the state quarterfinals.

Hooker has won 19 straight since its only loss of the season, at Forgan on Dec. 16. Playoff wins over Mooreland, Merritt and Pawnee led to a 49-41 win over Regent Prep for the Area title, Friday at Enid.

Thursday’s winner will be back at Yukon Friday at 6:30 p.m. to face either Crossings Christian or Latta in the state semifinals. The state championship is Saturday at 9:15 p.m.
