The council approved reappointing Becky Baggerly and Sharon Petty to the Tree Board for another three year term as recommended by the tree board, and approved the Subordination to Mortgage agreement to facilitate a Bank of the Panhandle loan to the YMCA.
They also approved to go ahead with advertising for bids for the mowing, clean-up, and removal of weeds, trash and debris from abated property for the 2014 physical year.
The 50 golf carts the council approved at a past meeting are now on site, so the council approved the Equipment Lease Agreement between the City and City National Bank.
Matt Crook of the Northwest Domestic Crisis Services in Guymon was present at the meeting to invite the council to attend a screening of the movie “Amy’s Story” that tells the story of a young woman who was a victim of domestic violence homicide. The screening takes place on Oct. 24 at 6 p.m.
