Goodwell Schools approve football co-op agreement with Texhoma

June 5, 2014

GOODWELL — In a brief special meeting on Wednesday, the Goodwell Public Schools Board of Education unanimously approved to dissolve a football cooperative agreement with Keyes and enter into an agreement for football with Texhoma.

The move comes after Goodwell and Keyes enjoyed a cooperative agreement for both football and softball for several years. Goodwell had previously had an agreement with Yarbrough.

The agreement approved Wednesday was just for football and just for the 2014-2015 school year (the 2014 football season). The board will be required to revisit the issue for the 2015-2016 school year.
