Eagles to go pink on Oct. 12

September 25, 2012

GOODWELL — October is breast cancer awareness month and what better way to bring awareness than to host a Pink Out game during a local high school football game?
The Oct. 12 game played in Goodwell between the Goodwell Eagles and the Balko Bison will do just that!
The Guardians of the Ribbon-Oklahoma Panhandle Chapter will be on hand with the pink Kaci truck to help promote the evening; The Goodwell Booster club will also have some pink items for sale and also some pink spirit items to give away.
We are asking fans to get into the spirit and help pack the stands with pink! We are offering pink t-shirts for sale in honor of this special evening. The Shirts can be seen on the Goodwell Booster Club page. The shirts will need to be pre-ordered by Sept. 27 and will be available for pickup on Oct. 10 at Goodwell Schools between 5:30-6:30 p.m. The shirts are $10.00 each for youth and adult sizes up to X-large, 2X are $12.00 and add $1.00 for each X after that.
There have also been some very gracious sponsors that are donating dollars for every touchdown scored in the game. Currently we have Guymon Home Health & Hospice along with 54 Gas and Go in Goodwell donating, but we are looking for more. If you or your business would like to donate to the “$ for touchdowns” please contact us.
This is a great opportunity for your business to give back to a great organization in our area.
All profits from t-shirt sales, spirit items along with all the money raised from the “$ for touchdowns” will be given to the Guardians of the Ribbon-Oklahoma Panhandle Chapter.
If you would like to order a t-shirt or give a donation please contact Jamie Boley by email at cjcboley@ptsi.net or Robbi Smith by calling or texting at (580) 461-7149.
