'Dizzy' B's With Lottery Sales

At 1105 N. Main Street, in the small town of Guymon, there is Dizzy B’s Corner Mart where people may stop to get gas, a soda, and maybe grab some lunch or breakfast, but many stop in to buy Lottery Tickets.
For this reason, Dizzy B’s has been named again as the number one seller of lottery tickets in the state of Oklahoma.
Dizzy B’s is owned by Lowell and Jennifer Williams who have owned the store for the past seven and a half years.
Jennifer said the majority of their customers do come in to buy lottery tickets and they get people from everywhere coming to town hoping for the winning ticket.
“The volume we have is just crazy,” Jennifer said. “It’s just amazing how much people spend on lottery and we pay out a lot too.”
They have had big winners who have won anywhere from $1,200 up to $50,000 and many numbers in between.
Their most popular tickets to sell are the $5 ones, as well as more game-like tickets such as Bingo and Crossword puzzles.
“We sell online games too and we try to promote them,” said Jennifer. “The lottery has tried to promote them out here, like Power Ball, Megamillion, Hot Lotto, Cash 5, Pick 3, Pick 4 - but those are ones you will have to wait to win.”

Lowell stated if anyone needs a reminder to buy their lottery tickets, all they have to do is grab their cell phone and text “dizzy” to 533-18 and it will send reminders every week on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Dizzy B’s also has deli items, gas, including 100 percent gas and 10 percent ethanol, beer, lunch specials, breakfast items, all the latest drink items, pastries, and every other convenience store snack or quick grab that can be expected; but lottery continues to be the popular attraction for those stopping by the store.
“It is exciting to be back to number one,” said Jennifer. “I think the most exciting part is the fact that this is Guymon and we are number one in selling lottery versus Oklahoma City or any of those big cities.”
Happy hour fountain drinks are available at Dizzy B’s Monday through Friday from 3-6 p.m., and lunch specials are offered on the weekdays as well. So stop by, visit with their friendly clerks and hope for some luck by buying a lottery ticket from a store that has been named number one in lottery sales in the state of Oklahoma.
