Carroll Max Roach

Carroll Max Roach passed away on July 31, 2012.
Max was the son of A. M. Roach and Myrtle Salter Roach, longtime residents of Guymon.
Max was born Sept. 16, 1931, in Hooker, Okla. He was Baptized in the First Presbyterian Church, attended Elementary and High School (Guymon High School), was a member of the “Order of DeMolay" was a candidate for The United States Military Academy, West Point, served in the US Army and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant.
He attended Oklahoma State University and graduated with a BS in Science/Agriculture, Sigmu Nu. He worked for Owens Corning Fiberglass and Tamko Roofing as a Regional Manager receiving many awards, before retiring. He was a member of the Elks B P O E., Lodge No 1650 and South Suburban Golf/Country Club.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joann D. Roach; brother, Maurice Alan, and sister, Mary Jo Roach Johnson.
He is survived by his daughter, Carol (Rachelle) of Tampa, Fla. and son, Bret of Centennial, Colo., numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, neighbors, former colleagues and fellow golfers.
A military service will be held Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012 at 11: 00 am at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W Kenyon Ave, Denver, Colo.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his honor to the Porter/Saint Anthony Home Hospice or Porter Hospice Residence.
